What is Darkstar?
A Windows app for running agents on models that live on your own computer, with tools for files, commands, Python, the web and image generation.
Who approves what an agent does?
You do. You choose how often Darkstar asks, and a rejected action never runs.
Does Darkstar send my data anywhere?
Models run on your machine. Darkstar goes online only for models and llama.cpp versions you choose to download, when you turn on internet access for browser tools, or when you connect a hosted model.
What hardware do I need?
A Windows 11 PC. How much power you need depends on the model you choose. The general rule is that VRAM is king. The more memory your accelerator fields, the better.
What counts as commercial use?
Using Darkstar for a business, a job, paid work or revenue. After the 31-day trial, all use of Darkstar needs a Professional or Enterprise license, commercial or not. The license has the full definition.
Who processes my payment?
Paddle.com is the merchant of record. It takes the payment, handles tax and sends your receipt. Your card details never reach Darkstar.
How do I change team members or cancel?
Use the link in your Paddle receipt email to update payment details or cancel, or email us and we'll change your Enterprise team member count. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your license runs to the end of the period you paid for.
